Nitric Oxide
'NO'
What is the Science?
NO is short for Nitric Oxide, not to be confused with Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas)
.
NO is a molecule produced in the blood vessel wall by Infrared LEDs, (Light Emitting Diodes),
using specific light frequencies.

FAQS: ('NO') - Nitric Oxide
ddd
- NO production stimulates cellular reproduction, relaxes muscles, stimulates nerve transmission,
and enhances the immune response.
- NO also reduces scar tissue, promotes wound healing, stimulates collagen production (making skin tighter).
- NO increases blood capillary circulation and vascular activity, stimulates production of endorphins
and encephalins from the brain.
- NO increases RNA and DNA synthesis, stimulates the adrenals (thus reducing pain), and stimulates the
production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which is an immediate energy source for muscle contraction.
- Infrared light also increases energy inside cells by stimulating cytochromes. Cytochromes are very important
because they are part of the electron transportation chain that converts sugar into NO.
Infrared LED Therapy is completely SAFE to use:
There has never been any negative side effects reported anywhere in the world.
Caution: The LED 'Soft' Laser should not be used over or near the womb of
pregnant women or over an active malignancy (cancer).
(For treatment on or near the face always wear Infrared goggles to protect the eyes.)
LED Infrared Light Uses:
fff
- Infrared treatment is being used for arthritis,
- wounds,
- burns,
- cancer relief,
- bone loss,
- diabetic ulcers,
- low oxygen supply, and weak blood.
- Infrared treatment can also be very effective for pain, strain, and inflammation reduction.
- Infrared machines have been used by NASA in space, and in US Navy nuclear submarines for SEAL teams.
Wound Healing:
LEDs developed for NASA sped wound healing in a U.S. Navy submarine crew by 50%.
Other researchers have shown that certain infrared wavelengths stimulate
the release of nitric oxide, (NO), in blood vessels, causing them to dilate.
This, in turn, increases circulation to a wounded area, improving delivery of oxygen
and nutrients and the removal of wastes.
That may be why LED’s seem to relieve ailments from muscle strains to shin splints.

Body Builders
Body Builders regularly use large quantities of NO-producing supplements at unbelievably high prices.
The fact that nitric oxide increases blood flow should make this NO device of interest to body builders, as increased blood flow will serve to deliver more nutrients to muscles, thus helping muscles become larger when subject to stress.
The fact that Nitric Oxide acts to reduce inflammation should also make it of interest to bodybuilders as it has the potential to reduce the pain associated with subjecting muscles to extreme stress.
Heart Disease
Dr Louis J. Ignarro (a US citizen) won the NOBEL PRIZE in ‘Physiology or Medicine’ in 1998 (along with with Robert Furchgott and Ferid Murad).
Their work was on “nitric oxide as a signaling molecule in the cardio vascular system”.
Dr Ignarro is the author of the authoritative book “Say Yes to No,” presenting the innovative regimen NO MORE HEART DISEASE which is designed to age proof the cardiovascular system, keeping the vascular network clean and elastic through enhanced NO production.
The same chemical responsible for men's erections (and, indirectly,
for the success of Viagra) also plays a vital role in the health of
your arteries, and thus your heart.
The chemical is nitric oxide (NO), which is primarily produced in the blood vessels' endothelium, or lining.
There it increases blood flow, prevents fatty deposits from sticking to blood vessel walls, keeps walls from getting too thick and stiff, and prevents the arteries from narrowing.
"The lining of the vessel is very important for cardiac health," says John P. Cooke, MD, PhD, head of Stanford University's vascular unit and one of the first researchers to pinpoint the role of NO in cardiovascular health.
"When the endothelium is healthy it's like Teflon, and things don't stick. When it's unhealthy, it becomes more like Velcro, attracting blood-borne gunk like flies to flypaper.”
