What is the Science?
NO is short for Nitric Oxide, not to be confused with Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas)

- NO production stimulates cellular reproduction, relaxes muscles, stimulates nerve transmission,

This, in turn, increases circulation to a wounded area, improving delivery of oxygen and nutrients and the removal of wastes.
That may be why LED’s seem to relieve ailments from muscle strains to shin splints.
Body Builders
Body Builders regularly use large quantities of NO-producing supplements at unbelievably high prices.
The fact that nitric oxide increases blood flow should make this NO device of interest to body builders, as increased blood flow will serve to deliver more nutrients to muscles, thus helping muscles become larger when subject to stress.

"The lining of the vessel is very important for cardiac health," says John P. Cooke, MD, PhD, head of Stanford University's vascular unit and one of the first researchers to pinpoint the role of NO in cardiovascular health.
"When the endothelium is healthy it's like Teflon, and things don't stick. When it's unhealthy, it becomes more like Velcro, attracting blood-borne gunk like flies to flypaper.”
