Length of use with MP3 and tens pads

I dont know how this will play out for you, but it seems like electrode use followed an odd pattern, I wore them for many hours in a row upto 8 at a time and often during sleep and then much of the next day... for example 8 hours on resting, then up in the late morning, shower, etc, then electrodes back on say from 1 pm till late at night.... douieing this for at least 3 to 4 days in a row.... effects would peak, then plateau, then subside a small amount, then peak again but a smaller peak another plateau, but at a level similiar to before then subside, and that a little less, so over all balancing and feeling of well being steadily inreasing and stabilizing, but very noticeably so.... now I have been under excess mental, physical stress for a while, and I could notice that my overworked self, was really being supported and sustained....  my guess is, that if you are fairly calm, balanced, healthy already not under much stress and have good energy levels, then you may notice these effects less.... also, it may be that less usage may be less noticeable....   I shoud also mention, that my mp3 player is a little MUVO running a single AAA battery and I typically have the volume cranked to MAXIMUM all the time....   Also, I have DEFINITELY noticed very curious reactions from others when Im wearing these electrodes.....Doc Stars --- On Tue, 11/25/08, PT Ferrance <ptf2008@...> wrote: From: PT Ferrance <ptf2008@...> Subject: Re: [the_sound_of_stars] length of use with MP3 and tens pads, etc To: the_sound_of_stars@yahoogroups.com Date: Tuesday, November 25, 2008, 7:50 PM Thanks.  At least it lets me know where someone else has tried. Hi Doc, I have a question about using the mp3 and electrodes.  From my training tens can be either mono-polar (moves frequency from one electrode to the other) or bi-polar (moves frequency back and forth between 2 electrodes).  With the use of the mp3 player, my understanding is that there is no polarity... so what is it we are doing?  I watched the video and I understand what sound can do... but I guess my question is, "Is there any polarity involved in the use of the frequencies on the electrodes?"   I have been experimenting with several frequencies on digestive related acupuncture points and am having some nice effects.  Will report more when it becomes more repetitious.   P.T.

Hi PT,   Yes you could. The signal under each electrode may be reduced, but I see no problem with this. You might like to increase the treatment/useage time by say 50% though.   Cheers, Kerry Kind Regards,
